Negligent Kerala doctor allegedly prescribes abortion ‘by mistake’: Pregnant woman furious

Pratibha is two-months pregnant, and on August 11, she went into the Karunagapally Taluk hospital in Kerala for a routine check-up. She was a little surprised when the doctor - Dr Shiny - wrote her a prescription, and asked her to change into a lungi and a T-shirt and go into the labour room.
Doubtful about what was happening, Pratibha asked the nurses in the labour room as to what she was prescribed. And to her shock, the nurses reportedly told her that it was an abortion pill - although she hadn’t requested an abortion at all.
