15-year-old rape survivor's kin file abortion plea in court

CHANDIGARH: Four days after a minor boy was arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl and making her pregnant, her family on Tuesday moved a plea in Chandigarh district court seeking abortion. The court will hear the matter on Thursday.

The rape survivor is said to be more than 24-week pregnant and she can undergo abortion only after getting permission for the same from the court.
