Research Shows Nigerian Youths Embrace Family Planning – NGO

Country Director, Marie Stopes International Organisation Nigeria (MSION), Effiom Nyong, says 19 per cent of Nigerian youths under 25 years accessed one modern Family Planning (FP) method or the other in 2017.
Effiom said this Abuja on Friday that five per cent of this youth were between 15 and 19 years.

Country Director, Marie Stopes International Organisation Nigeria (MSION), Effiom Nyong, says the through the introduction of Family Planning (FP), the organisation has been able to avert 10,000 unsafe abortions in Nigeria in the last 10 years.
The country director who made this known in Abuja, advocated for safe abortion, adding, unsafe abortion continued to claim thousands of lives every year.
