Women urged to visit Marie Stopes for their family planning needs

Marie Stopes Ghana, has re-launched its centre at Kokomlemle in Accra with a call on women and girls to visit the place for all their family planning needs.
The contraception and family planning centre has been operating in the country since 2006 and provides services and information on sexual reproductive health to assist women during child birth.

Tamale, April 26, GNA – Women especially young ladies have been advised to seek abortion care at designated health facilities with certified medical practitioners to guarantee their safety.
Madam Patricia Antwi-Boasiako, Northern Sector Regional Manager of Marie Stopes Ghana, who gave the advice, said it took a skilled medical practitioner to perform abortion to avoid complications hence need to seek such care at designated facilities.
